Wow so many emotions today! Nerves, Scared, Worried, Upset, Sad, Relieved.................

Today I went to the Doctor and found out that I have to have surgery on September 28, 2007! I have either a piece of placenta left in my uterus from Gillian or a polyp. They did an ultra sound to find this out and as soon as it started the technician said oh yeah there is a mass in your uterus. After the ultra sound was over the technician said "I wish you the best! Good Luck!" Yikes I really started to freak out. But deep down I knew/know that everything is going to be alright! Just another curve ball in life. What can you do?!...

For those of you who may not know what a Polyps is here is a description:

Uterine (endometrial) polyps consist of areas in your uterus where the lining of the uterus (endometrium) becomes overgrown and forms a mass (polyp). Uterine polyps may attach to the interior of your uterus by a large base or a thin stalk and range in size from a few millimeters — the size of a sesame seed — to several centimeters — the size of a golf ball or larger.
As the polyps grow, they protrude into your uterus. You can have one or many uterine polyps. The polyps may stay contained within your uterus, or occasionally, they may slip down through the opening of the uterus (cervix) into the vagina. A uterine polyp that develops near the fallopian tubes may obstruct the opening of the tubes, possibly leading to difficulty in becoming pregnant.

I also had a physical exam today along with blood work. Which the blood work came back great. My white blood cell count was awesome, my hormone levels were good and everything looked normal. So they ruled out me having a tumor. Which let me tell you I was so very happy to here that!!!! I go in Monday to get more details about my surgery! Everything is going to be just fine!!!!

I will keep everyone posted!

Swimming Lessons!!!!!!

September 11-October 4th 2007

Every Tuesday and Thursday from 11:20am until 11:50am

Jack is doing so awesome! This is the 1st class I'm not in the water with him. He is in Pre-school 1 class. I am so proud of him. He listens to what the teacher says and does what she asks. The kids are suppose to stay at the wall while she is practicing a move or something with another kid. Jack went away from the wall once and she nicely asked him to go back to the wall and he did right away! That made me very happy.
